So far we’ve collected $125 in donations for our 3d printed widgets. Your donations have been forwarded to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Thank you New Orleans, that’s 500 of our neighbors fed!
UPDATE: As of May 8th we are now open 10AM – 6PM daily.
As of April 17th we have reopened with a walk up window every day from Noon – 6PM daily.
Sanitizer is available for use after every transaction and we will wipe the counter down with alcohol frequently. Additionally we will be wearing a mask while waiting on you.
You will be able to buy 100% of what’s available in the shop if you can (mostly) describe what you want. We’ll bring you a selection to the window until you get what you want.Delivery is $5 (for the delivery person) and is limited to the area between Poydras and Poland and Claiborne to the Mississippi River. Call 525-8004.
3D printing
Our 3d printer has been busy since we closed in late March making hundreds of surgical mask straps, AKA “ear savers”, to donate to frontline healthcare workers and delivery people here in New Orleans. They are made of a biodegradable plastic and really do help if you wear a mask all day at work.
Helping our neighbors
Now we’re entering phase two of mask strap production and have some extras available at the window for a suggested donation of $1 which will go 100% directly to the Second Harvest Food Bank.
Also we’ve been printing these “Kleen Key” key chains for opening doors and pushing buttons. They are only a $5 donation, again with 100% of that going to Second Harvest Food Bank.
Thank you, New Orleans. We will get through this together.
